Why didn’t businesses in the area contribute to the Small Business Recovery Fund? We have 1400 businesses in this area and only 15 contributed to the fund? Cambridge TEMPositions, Inc had to borrow money to give to the fund; it was the right thing to do and some businesses had to set an example for other businesses. The example by some of us did not set the example for others to give - why?
We don’t think the Chamber does good work for small business and maybe other businesses feel the same way. The Chamber gave the money to SCORE and they gave out the money to almost anyone who asked. I’m thinking the $100,000 we gave was a waste of resources and I should have given the money directly.
The reporting of who gave and where the money went was shameful.

Other than using businesses that have been flooded, what can those of us that weren’t flooded do to help those of you who were?
